Only registered or those who had permission are allowed to enter the library and use the provided services.
All patrons must always display their student or staff ID card when entering the library. Patron may be asked to leave the library or prohibited from using the provided services when they failed to do so.
Patrons are reminded to always dress politely and tidily within the stay in the library. Patrons are also not allowed to wearing jeans, slippers and round net t-shirt.
Patrons are not allowed to make heavy noise, eating, drinking, smoking, singing, sleeping and doing something that may attract attentions and affecting the learning environment of the library.
Patrons are prohibited to make discussion in the library. One may do so at the 24 Hour Reading Room.
Hand phones are allowed to be brought into the library but patrons are prohibited to make or receive phone calls.
Walkman, Discman and all of its kind are forbidden in the library.
Bag excluding handbag; helmet and umbrella are not allowed to be brought into the library. Patrons may put those things at the baggage storage room outside the library.
Latest newspapers, journals and magazines that had been read must be put into it original shelves.
Book that had been referred or used must be put onto a trolley provided.
Patrons are not allowed to reallocate a book from one level to another.
Coupling is entirely prohibited in the library.
Patrons are asked to tidy up the chair and desk when begin to leave the library.
Damaging library properties is a form of illegal behaviors. Action such as doodling, cutting, damaging or destroying are prohibited.
The library is not responsible of lost or damaged personal belongings.
All transactions at the library counters are be obliged to be made in it service hours only.
All books or other materials that need to be brought out from the library must be shown to the library’s security guards for inspection.
Loaner is subject to take full responsibility of the loaned materials.
Requesting for the library seats is not allowed.
Loaning materials using other patron ID cards is illegal.
Patrons are prohibited to shift materials, collections, furniture and any other library properties.
Patrons that are founded to possess library’s materials without permission will be subject to punishment.
All rubbish must be thrown away into the dustbin.
All patrons must follow the rules issued for the UPSI Library.
Library personnel is permitted to block patrons from entering the library and using the provided services when they (patrons) are founded for breaking the UPSI Library or university’s rules and regulations.
Library personnel and the university are allowable to make changes and additions to the current applicable rules from time to time without prior notice.
